Shavemac Issues

So, my email asking what they found wrong with the brush and what work they are carrying out has gone unanswered.

Got an email this morning with a despatch confirmation, the email itself says replacement brush and the attached invoice says brush repair under guarantee.

Not really sure what I will get back! Will find out in a due course I guess.

Not overly impressed with Shavemac overall up til now.

From what I have experienced the repair of a faulty knot consists of either steaming the knot out or drilling the knot out. Both of these techniques risk damage and it would not surprise me if the brush is replaced in full.
 
I believe they are a fine company with a good reputation so hopefully your new brush will be all you hoped for. clearer communication from them in the meantime would have upped their service performance from 'very good' to 'perfection'. enjoy your brush
