*Got sent an alum block which arrived this morning before I shaved. Never used one before. Seems to do as people have described. Doesn't taste very nice :roll:

After a fortnight of Wool Fat and the Aristocrat Jr, this was an absolute treat of a shave: not better, but aromatic and effortless.

Arrowhead, I never got a chance to reply on the last SOTD but thanks for the reply re: Red Packs and I already have some Feathers to audition at some point as well as 7 o@clock Sharp Edge (yellow packs)

Decided to really go for it today an popped a Feather in the Slant. A very 'quiet' shave which did leave me with a couple of weepers, which were my fault.

The C&S soap was a chunk pif'd to me by Vinny (Joe Mclaine). It works well, but the scent isn't as appealing to me as the cologne. I think that Vinny reached the same conclusion.

It has been a while since i used Fitjar, I was soon reminded of how good this cream is. It does not have an exploding lather, but it does provide all the cushoining that is required & my skin felt great afterwards.
