Prep: Shower
Razor: Le Touriste
Blade: Le Touriste
Brush: Duke 3
Soap: Cyril Salter
Aftershave: Simple Moisteriser
EDP: Miller Harris Tangerine Vert
Prep - Noxzema / Hot towel
Pre shave - Proraso
Razor – Weber ARC
Blade – Polsilver Super Iridium
Brush - 'El Monstruo' (Romera Manchurian 30/50 Fan)
Soap – Local Gent : Fields & Streams
Post - Cold water rinse / Chatillon Lux: Bon Vivant Post Shave Toner
Wonderful ( Saturday ) shave, with another 5* soap that doesn't seem to get the love it deserves, and 'El Monstruo' behaved at an obscene level, yet again...it may take a while to get a Romera Manchurian, but it really is worth it...
Pre shave: Bulldog original face scrub / bloom water
Soap: 'the fat' grated into a container
Brush: Omega pro 49 boar
Razor: Rockwell 6S (plate #6)
Blade: Shark (2)
Post shave: Myrsol blue after shave, followed up with Trumper sandalwood skin food
I struggled to get a decent lather from the fat today, but once I dialled it in it was a great shave. The soap might take a bit of time to get going (especially in my hard water) - but it's worth the effort. For me, the fat is still unmatched in slickness and post shave feel. A very close, comfotable BBS shave in 3 passes. The 6s with a shark blade continues to impress, and the omega 49 has to be one of the great bargains of wet shaving.
Pre - RSC Facial Scrub
Soap - Vitos Red
Brush - Omega 82065
Razor - YT Tech
Blade - Perma Sharp SS (4)
Post Shave - Witch Hazel
I've been using/testing @phoenixandbeau vegan soap for the last few days, and decided to use Vitos Red today to compare it. It seems I am not just testing the P&B on it's own right but to what I am trying to find for soaps in general in usage for their qualities.
Vitos Red is one of my benchmark soaps as I find it really easy to build a lather and the lather quality is absolutely superb and comparing it today to the P&B Vegan, I definitely fond the Vitos Red easier to build a lather with. On my face for the third pass at least I noticed a bit of irritation when I had the lather on my face, which is something I can definitely live without. Post shave my face isn't feeling as great as it did for the P&B vegan.

Over the last few days I have had long lasting Shaves with a variety of Razors, with Reduced whisker growth the easier the Daily Shave becomes. Well thats the theory anyway.
Using the light Alu. Hawk I tend to use a trusty Barber Shop soap, which provides the cushion and glide needed with a lighter Razor to avoid the dangers of using too much pressure. Was a very comfortable shave, but I took care to use short strokes on the chin area, where exuberance can lead to mishap.
Extremely pleased with the Shave which despite the blade being on its 9th outing, was very comfortable and of the finished Face Stroking Variety. No doubt later in the week when meeting up with friends for Lunch, the Shave will be dreadful and the use of styptic pencil/tissue will be required. Will to rule that out choose a fail safe Razor, like the General.
