Shave of the day Saturday 15th-Friday 21st july 2017

I need to try me some Cella! Or Vitos Red... or both...

Great snap all the same my Welsh chum! I do love the look of the Calypso
It's very good soap, the Vitos irritated me but it was about 18 months ago and no other almond soaps have irrited me so want to give it another run out.

The Calypso is lovely, I wish it was in red (Liverpool) and not blue (Everton)!

Thanks foxy, ordered

It's been ages since I've done one of these, so here it goes.
July 20th
Prep: cold water and a little argan oil
Soap: Wickhams 1912 Classic 24
Brush: Simpson Butterscoth Chubby 2 Synthetic
Razor: Brass General on Windrose handle
Blade: Feather Pro (4)
Post Shave: Thayers Alcohol-Free Witch Hazel
Eau De Toilette: Club De Nuit Intense Man

Cold water shave with two passes, a tiny bit of touch up, then a cold shower. A lovely BBS result but got a little nick under my nose as I'd sprained my hand last night playing Rounders. I'm loving the brass general, the only negative was the slippery handle which has been nicely remedied with the Windrose Darwin handle.

Afternoon gents,

20th SR shave and not the best one today. Using my Le Grelot which is the first time I've used it since @Fergiebilly put a natural edge on her. The edge itself is lovely, nice and smooth but sharp to boot, it, as always, was my technique that left the shave wanting.

Lathered up using my Shavemac 3 band with Wickham Le Bleu, usual top performance from both.

One pass with the SR, cheeks and top lip were fine, chin was OK apart from a little nick, it was under the jawline and parts of my neck were the problems kicked in. I dug it in slightly on my jawline so had a small nick, irritation and a few weepers followed. Never mind.

Second pass with the Merkur 34C to finish off, reasonable result, minus the previously mentioned issues.

Enjoy the rest of your afternoon/evening.

A great looking handle for the General, proper job!

Pre: Cold water
Brush: Omega 20102
Soap: PAA Solstice
Razor: Gillette Slim H1 (7+5)
Blade: Ming Shi
Afters: Vitamin E oil, Boots Bay Rum

A very nice wtg/xtg shave, whilst pondering what these blades are really called. The wrapper claims it is a "Super White" and the name on the blade is "Diamond Super Stainless".
The conclusion I came to was, it's quite a nice blade.

+1 on the Boots:Boots Bay Rum...I really like the Boots: "Freshwood" A/S & Balm..wonderful stuff!
