My wife purchased me a shave and facial at Shavemeisters @ <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.ellenconlinhair.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.ellenconlinhair.com/</a><!-- m -->
The shave and facial costs £25 and takes approx. 40mins. I was shaved by a young lady after a cleanser was applied and 2 hot towels. Men-U products were then used. A shavette was the tool of choice, not the normal half a DE blade, a single edged blade was 'pushed' into the razor.
I have a tough beard and fairly sensitive skin. (Don't we all?) The shaver had a few problems and my neck wasn't completely BBS, this was my decision I must add. Afterwards, cold then a hot towels. She then applied a product unfamiliar to me, PFB Vanish. Crikey! it was fairly stingy but boy, did work. I will review it later. It in fact is marvellous and I will be buying some. The chap in charge, Kevin, and I had a good blether. He was surprised how much I'm 'into shaving' He very kindly gave me a brand new Men-U brush.
At £25 it's not cheap, but for a treat I would recommend it. The staff are very nice and eager for you to have a pleasant experience. My only quibble is the blades used. They are not sharp enough. I'm going to drop off a Feather, Astra and a Thai for Kevin

I should be stingy with all that alcohol in it. It's basically a light alcoholic gel with salicylic acid and acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin), so it will work as an astringent after shave (gel) and as a chemical exfoliant, which acts on razor burn, cuts and ingrowns.

I can try and emulate it if you are willing to try it ;-)
