Sharpening DE Blades.....

Hi, Guys. Is it possible to improve DE blades on
a glass razor hone; like the ones in the pics?
I currently strop used blades on my palm with
a little liquid soap, but using something like a
Razorpit or one of these be more effective?

What Chris said, not worth the hassle considering what blades cost, these were tricks men used many years ago when blades were relatively more expensive than they are in today's world.

Stainless steel blades are crap once the coatings are gone, ditch 'em.

Honing and stropping belongs in the era of carbon steel, uncoated blades. Coatings make blades smooth, honing and stropping removes the coating and just adds sharpness at the expense of smoothness. Utter and abject false economy for an item costing in the region of 10p.
