I suddenly realised that I had never tried an EJ DE89 razor (Merkur 34C was flavour of the day when I started). I found an Amazon special which was delivered for Â£17 ........as cheap as most Yaqis....so I took the punt.

1mL of Ambergris in Mysore Sandalwood oil from Abu Al Hilfs, an eBay seller than @pjgh kindly put me on to in his 'attar' thread! Much appreciated, as it smells great and was had for a decent price, too!

Well I got this today... And after a while in the ultrasonic it turned into this... Case is fair to good... Just looking for a blade holder for it now.

So can't complain for Â£20...just got to try and find what it is

a. ER Travel set, shame it is an ER 1924, but I have a proper one to replace it.
A nice custom fit Leather Case for the Box.
b Original cardboard box for above. ER " New Jewel Combination Set".

Really pleased with this so far. . . second hand, well looked after (thanks @DamianJ) iKon B1 â€˜Deluxe' open comb on iKon OSS handle, all stainless steel. I also managed to source a rare black inkwell stand from eBay, these are discontinued now so great timing that one pops up as I get the razor.
