It looks like I was correct, @pjgh has found an advert for Christmas 1949 and it was advertising the streamline ,so late 40s was correct.
Yes I see it, thank you for confirming my feelings about that dateline. P.Top left - for Christmas 1949:
A Streamline, six blades and a pack of cards for about £10 when you take inflation into consideration.Top left - for Christmas 1949:

If only you could get a nice cased Streamline for a tenner!A Streamline, six blades and a pack of cards for about £10 when you take inflation into consideration.
If you got a nice cased 1912 for a tenner nowadays you'd be happy.
I'd give them six blades and a pack of cards to sweeten the dealIf only you could get a nice cased Streamline for a tenner!
Now that's just showing off!........Top left - for Christmas 1949:

Focus Dynamic SE
Incredibly busy day today....literally up and out. No shave until I returned this evening...so it's maintenance only and no Photo. I want to have a nice Sunday Shave tomorrow. Two quick passes for what turned out to be a DFS
I find the Focus seems to have a nice habit of doing that, 2 passes and done.
