Got both them today.Im really impressed so far.Out of the box the tips of the 830 are really soft and on its first shave performed as my trusty Omega boar one but the handle in the Semogue is more sturdy and heavy as well as ergonomic.It doesn't feel as "cheap" as the Omega handle but,of course,the Omega is like 9 euros less(I can pick it locally here in Spain for 10 euros) and in this case you get what you pay for.Ill give it a try during this week.I also received a Semogue 2040HD wich is simply superb too.Its super well packed and it seems its gonna perform brilliant with hard soaps and small enough for facelathering too(it has a 22mm knot).This could be kind of a Chubby (since its so packed)but the loft is kind of tall,57 mm.I would prefer a shorter loft like 50mm.
