Ha ha is the Ikon that good Chris ? Sounds like my kind of razor.Maybe the heads look smaller but other than the 1912's and the like, the modern AC SE's are somewhat wider than a DE. And in my opinion far better which is why I am nearly SE total.
AC SE's to consider
Occams Enoch
Colonial General original both the brass and stainless versions
Colonial General V2
Razorock Hawk V3
Stainless Mongoose
ATT SE1
If you want to try Ripping your face off an Ikon SE. A sadism tool
Older Gem blade types
Ever Ready 1912 and 1924
For ease
Oneblade Core or hybrid

Colonial General V2 (you'll struggle to find V1)
Because owners know a good razor.
I have a local shave buddy who has the V1 & V2 and swears by the design. Ironically, he prefers the aluminum V1 model with a stainless handle. Go figure.
Oddly the aluminium is on my list
You may find that a lot of GeneralV1 & Hawk V1 owners resorted to use of S/S handles in lieu of the originals.I have a local shave buddy who has the V1 & V2 and swears by the design. Ironically, he prefers the aluminum V1 model with a stainless handle. Go figure.
Hi Chris,.Oddly the aluminium is on my list
You alright @Snuff ... it's been a while.
