Care to explain the difference to this unwashed heathen? I'm very curious, because a solid blade does sound enticing, but I've never read a real description of what makes a SE shave good.
Also, I think the SE razors look fugly.
Shame noone makes them anymore, and I don't see why not. If Merkur et al can pump out so many variations on the one theme, why can't they do something else as well?
