Scent of The Day

Despite still belting out Alexandria II from the 5 sprays earlier, I thought I'd try out Areej Le Doré Oud Zen - I've had 3mL of it sitting around for a while.

Well...

...it's beautiful. Much Oud. Much resin. Some spicy notes and animalic backbone. It won't be for everyone and it exudes a gorgeously ‘charred' woodsy accord but it's really ticking boxes for me. I'd never have gone for this initially when getting into fragrances but this is difficult to not appreciate.
