Having owned Sartorial, Vaara, Blenheim Bouquet and Endymion I'm glad to say I've tried a number of Pens fragrances.Well, I do! I have Blenheim Bouquet, Endymion, Castile, and Bayolea. I love the way they craft their scents to balance fresh notes with slightly heavier wood/spice notes. Understated, classic, yet paradoxically current.
Always keen to hear comments/reviews on other Pen fragrances.
When you say brut original, I wonder how much stronger brut was in the sixties and seventies than the one now.? Apologies if this has been on any previous postsBrut Original ... feeling the essence of manly today !

You'd probably be better off grating it up or scraping it out bit-by-bit, pour in a small amount of Leather Oud to the grated bits, leave it soak while closed until the soap swells up and takes on most of the fragrance/alcohol. Thereafter leave it slightly unlidded and you should lose some of the ethanol before the fragrance really dissipates. It'll dry out a bit more then. Removal of ethanol would be a good thing, it tends to disagree with lather. Melting it would probably take it above the boiling point of ethanol (78deg C) so you could get some flash evaporation which would likely take more scent with it than the aforementioned. One for @Benz3ne
Can I simply melt a tub of unscented Grooming Dept Mallard and pour a load of Dior Leather Oud in for man soap?

Alas, Leather Oud scented soap.
Try with a little bit first in a small tin I reckon.
