For me,the first hour it lingers excellenty, but after that it starts to fades aways, but you still get the odd reminder of the scent after that..
Well done that man!..,"everything deserves a chance" so the saying goes, + 1 on the Proraso Green Aftershave "one of my favourite proraso range splashes.. & the Supermax Super Platinum blades, they match wonderfully with my Parkers, "i've come to relize that my mature skin is like a rhino's backside!..
Brush: Omega 21762
Razor: Parker Variant w/ Supermax Super Platinum (1)
Soap: Proraso Green
Post: Boots Witch Hazel, Aloe Vera Gel & Proraso Green Aftershave
Having listed the razor yesterday, I have had a change of heart and it is having a stay of execution until Sunday. I changed blade for today and used products that I know are good i.e. not crap like the Willliams shaving cream. Same shave as every other day only setting 2 for everything except ATG which I dropped to setting 1. A marginally better shave I thought, still get the little micro cuts under my chin but I get that for a lot of razors. For me the Supermax felt a less harsh blade in the razor than the Polsilver. I will try the blade again tomorrow then switch it out for either a Rapira or Voskhod. I really want to like and get on with this razor.
Happy Star Wars Day chaps! Live long and prosper.
Thank you, I hope so too. It is a good razor but hope it hits the mark for me. I think I was hasty so will give it a proper try out. I agree about the Supermax blades, wonderful blades and very cheap. I wish mine was like a rhinos bum lol I can use an aggressive razor but I prefer a mild, got one of those knock off Futurs on the way so that will be an interesting razor.Well done that man!..,"everything deserves a chance" so the saying goes, + 1 on the Proraso Green Aftershave "one of my favourite proraso range splashes.. & the Supermax Super Platinum blades, they match wonderfully with my Parkers, "i've come to relize that my mature skin is like a rhino's backside!....so a aggressive or non-aggressive blade works either way for me.,i'm lucky..in general i find that non-aggressive blades work really well in aggressive razors and vice versa.i hope you find your "spot on Angle & blade match" with the Parker Variant. Take it easy.
Have a great time in sunny Dorset mate.Afternoon gentlemen,

That's a good question.. if i had to pick one, for instant "i like this razor" then it's my recently bought 94R..then the 92R a close second.., the 94R's size, weight and balance is spot on for me, and it's quite an aggressive little lady too...all my razors including my parkers are ladies, which i treat all with the same respect..if i don't they will bite me!Thank you, I hope so too. What Parker is your favourite?
Hi @Bogeyman , I'm undecided to be honest. I like it for sure, it's a good size & comfortable to use but it's soft, very soft. There's nothing wrong with that, just I prefer my brushes a bit scratchier. I've got another razorock synth but haven't used it yet. I'll use it this week & see how it compares. Short answer though, it's a good brush...
