Aluminum and brass Type F. Probably the most aggressive Schick injector. The blade I am using tames it down. I do not like the current line of twin injector blades due to their mildness. Put a vintage Schick Platinum in and it will really cut close.

Nope! Unlike the Christy and the Simmons I have, this earlier model shaves like an injector - the blade is there, present and even touching the skin, but it's not cutting. I adjusted the position of the blade and the position of the cap a couple of times, but it just wasn't working ... I finished off with a Bic.

It might be that the blade is done, but on its third run I doubt it. I'll try the blade again in due course and I'll try the razor with a fresh blade, but I think this is one of those razors which happens to take an injector blade, but just doesn't work.

Shame ...

In other news, high praise for the humble Bic! 99% of the time, it works every time
