The General with a Pro Super on board is a cracking shave and Castle Forbes Lime is nice and refreshing.
Happy Shaving one and all.

The Erasmic stick has had a couple of reformulations.....it's not the soap it used to be....and completely different from the bowl.SOTD 26/06/18

I had a good shave with the Erasmic but was disappointed as the lather dissipated quite a bit. Not sure how to correct next time - maybe less water in the brush when I face lather.

It's glycerine based.....and in my opinion works well. They did have an experiment a few years back and released the bowl soap in stick format. They called it Erasmic Supreme. Sadly it was taken off the market. It was much more expensive than the standard stick as it came in a wind up dispenser....similar to deodorant sticks. I revisited the Erasmic stick last year. I kept the base and threw it out after 1 shave. Thanks for your reply. Is the soap in the bowl better than the stick?
