All the best,

Prep: Hot shower
Pre: Noxzema
Soap: NSS Grape & Bamboo Signature sample
Bowl: Woodhead Tall Large Scuttle
Brush: Omega Boar 10005
Razor: Gillette Slim @7
Blade: Rapira Stainless (2)
After: Speick Active AS, Body Shop Arber ASB

Today was an experiment to really see if Noxzema kills NSS lather. Normally I don't think I'd use this combination because of the pong of Nox overpowers the subtle NSS scent; but I needed to know.
I used my usual thin application of the Nox before bowl lathering and applying NSS lather. I usually scrub a little bit like face lathering but I found no degradation of the lather at all. So my conclusion is no effect.

While on the subject of NSS Signature, it's a funny soap isn't it. In the bowl it seems a little frothy (maybe I did use a too small an amount) but stable. Once applied and brushed around the chops it kind of settles to a cream which sticks to the skin quite nicely.
I still find my skin feels a little tight afterwards though, maybe that's the clay in it (if there is any) pulling out moisture from the skin. Not complaining though as my face feels great afterwards.

Have a great day, folks.

First time with this brush. I let it bloom with a quick shampoo hand-lather then hit the Xpec with it.
Dear God! The lather was going everywhere! This shot was taken AFTER my 3-pass shave. Look at all the lather leftover. Amazing.
