S.O.T.D. Saturday 20th August to Friday 26th August 2016

That is one fab brush!

SOTD Saturday 20th August 2016. Good morning shaving room.

Prep..shower
Pre shave..bloom water
Razor..Gillette 1960 fat boy
Blade..Astra SP#1
Brush.. Kent BK12

AS.. Old spice

This mornings shave just felt ace, nice and relaxed after my shower, I whipped up a great OSP lather with Mr Big and the fat boy handled the stubble perfectly.
Finished off with the thayers followed by a splash of old spice.

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend. Over and out.

Omega 11137boar
Lea Classic soap
Ever Ready 1914
Gem S/S [ 5 ] & 1/2 Spine shim
Alum Rub/rinse
Lea Classic A/S lotion

The 1914 delivers a smooth and comfortable shave, as it allows one to do precise finishing passes
to get that all round finish. Still finding that I enjoy the challenge of getting a really good shave with an ER1924.

Morning All

Shower and Bulldog (the product, that is)
Soap: The Fat
Bowl: Steve Woodhead Ceramics
Brush: Semogue 1470
Razor: Gillette 1951 Superspeed DE
Blade: Feather #1
Post: alum, Thayer's Rose and Aloe Vera, Proraso Pre-Shave and green a/s
Fragrance: Penhaligon's Lothair
Music: William Basinski: The River

Back into DE land again. It's great how a combination of a mild razor and one of (if not the) sharpest blades gives a smooth BBS shave.

I've always face lathered with the Fat; so I thought a bowl lathering would be nice for a change. The Fat (as I'm sure others that use it will testify to) produces a tremendous lather bowl-wise. More than enough for 3 passes and enough to squidge out from the brush for a buffing.

Have a great one, Folks.

Brush: Custom with finest 2-band knot.
Shaving cup: Epsilon.
Shaving cream: Lea Classic.
Razor: iKon X3 with custom handle.
Blade: Sputnik (4).
After shave: Alcolado Glacial.

The shaving cream makes a nice fresh and thick lather.
The iKon X3 razor is, just like the Merkur 39C, a very fine razor - effective
but yet mild. One can hear there's a blade in it, but not feel it ...

DFS++ !

Have a nice day, gentlemen ...

Hai Karate Splash!.great stuff.
