Returned home from a short trip last night and in the post was a Merkur 34c acquired from the BST section, (Another great idea by the way) presented in as new condition. Try that in the morning I thought. 3 days on the cartridges is way too much for me now, it does not give me that sense of achievement somehow.

What a good little razor this is, I just assumed that it would be OK but first class result. BBS no nicks at all. PS It looks very travel size to me. The Weishi could be on it's last legs.

Great shave. A return to the EJ showed me exactly why it's my favourite razor. These cheap blades are superb for me too. Not for everyone, but I get on very well with them. The performance from the Arko could well secure it as my favourite soap, something I've not really considered before. I have a favourite razor and brush, but I've not thought about a favourite soap before. Anyway, great shave. The Floid ended it very well indeed.

A great injector shave, thanks again to Tony Spurs for this super razor, I much prefer this model to my J3 Golden 500 as the handle is an inch shorter.
