Merry Christmas everyone. Really good shave before I head over to see the family. Steve's Bay Rum and the Baux are exactly the right scents for today, they always smell like Christmas.
Have a good day all...now where did I put that Champagne?
Today's shave brought to you almost entirely with today's acquisitions.

Omega brush
Gillette 7o'clock green (never used before)

All good stuff and especially a Gairdener whittled handled brush well loaded with some Cool Godrej cream. I looked like Santa - sans red jacket - before every pass! Lather and lather and then some!
The handle was a gift some time ago and I stioll love it - probebly more every time I use it. Thanks Graeme.
Come to think of it, the Simpson's AS balm was a gift also, came with my TSN P8. Lovely stuff. Thanks Mark.

Got a slant this morning and decided to run before I could walk. The result wasn't quite BBS but a DFS all the same! Merry Christmas to you all.
Musgo glycerin soap * Kent H8 Brush * Steve Woodhead Bespoke Bowl * Tabac Hard Soap * 1961 Gillette Fatboy * Gillette Black Blade * Thayers Witchhazel * Tabac Eau de Cologne
I tried tabac today for the first time and was walking in a winter wonderland. I had enough lather to shave between now and new year, it went bananas (I have very soft water). It has now gone straight to the top of my rotation.
I don't chase the BBS normally settling for a DFS but the lather made it possible for an Xmas BBS. SWMBO is very impressed with the smooth and the smell too.

Today was an Old Spice day. Pulled the birthday razor out of storage for a beautiful 3-pass BBS. Had a "where's the blade?" moment on the 2nd pass. Lovely shave.

Lovely Christmas day shave. I used the LE P8 for the first time today a gift from my partner a lovely brush. The Grafton was brought out new as well enjoying the scent and ease of lathering with this cream.
I hope you all have a peacefull relaxing time wherever in the world you are. Enjoy your shaves with any new gifts you may have received.

Two passes is now standard for me, north to south then south to north.
First time using the P8. The best knot is probably the better than any of my other best Simpson brushes straight from the box, including my Chubby 2 which I have had for a while and is well broken in.
