S.O.T.D. Sat 15th February to Frid. 21st February 2014

Prep: Hot shower
Pre: Zirh pre-shave oil
Soap: NSS Yushu - Juniper Berry
Bowl: Woodhead Pedestal
Brush: MÜHLE Kosmo silvertip synthetic
Razor: ATT R2 Kronos
Blade: Personna Blue (1)
After: M&S Harvard AS, Zirh ASB

Great scent from NSS as usual and easy to lather. Not used the ATT for a while and it felt a little rough, maybe it was the blade, don't know. Result BBS with a little irritation on the neck but not too bad. Wonder if it'll be the same tomorrow...

Ahá, here we go, enabling to humble people, gents!
This brush shape remember me some old lacquered Strong Set brushes. But this one is awesome, my friend. Wood is better unlackered
Look

foreseeable!

Keen Kutter - haven't shaved with one for over two years. Popped in a new blade and set off on the mission. Bottom line - a rough 2 pass shave. The boxed mint remains in the trophy case and because I went into a buying rage to get blades three years ago, I have enough blades to pass on for two out of the box razors if any die hard SE individuals are interested. One green handled and one black. I posted this to see if anyone really reads SOTD. PM if interested.

SUNDAY EVENING

Prep: Hot rinse & Aleppo soap
Razor: Aristo Jr
Blade: Gillette Swede
Brush: Frank Purtech
Soap: Mike's Lemongrass & Eucalyptus - scuttle lathered
Post - Witch hazel & IK balm

First go with the Swedes. They are very smooth!

Am carrying on with the Mike's soap. I'm struggling to get a 'meringue like' lather with it, it's more like cream. Very effective though.

Agree with that Mart. They're very good indeed.
