That is a nice looking piece of Russian steel. I am very tempted, but I am trying to refrain as I have bought far too much over the last three weeks.
Scott.

Gairdner said:I trust it's not 'Flight of the Bumblebee'? You'll have major blood-letting if you try to finish within the time constraints of that piece :icon_lol:. You'd be much better with 'Capriccio Espagnol' and the 'Russian Easter Festival Overture' combined or go for 'Scheherazade' which is one of my absolute favourite pieces of music.

I'm a huge lover of Russian composers and whilst not all that well versed or especially learnéd, I do have a number of CDs of my favourite works.
Finally, beware of some of the huge dynamic swings and changes of such music whilst shaving: there are a number of 'big hits' that may cause your razor hand to suddenly jolt. :icon_eek:
Gairdner said:Well, if you're going to be playing 'Pictures....' then please be very careful around the beginning of the strangely named 'A Hut on Fowl's Legs' or you may add a new smile to your visage! Now that's a sonic wallop if ever there was one.
Perhaps a more genteel shaving piece would be Borodin's 'In the Steppes of Central Asia'?

H, you are most welcome but the thanks really goes to JDS for reminding me of my love for such wondrous music. America has some glorious orchestras but Russia, the composers.
