Royal Mail has suffered a cyber attack which is affecting international shipping. They are getting on top of the situation (see update here), but you may wish to factor this situation in if you are planning to send anything abroad.

The opening paragraph of the update says that the attack is "impacting our parcel and letter services to and from countries around the world", so I presume incoming mail is affected also.Will this affect any packages coming in to the UK?

I suspect this was before the cyber attack.Hiya,
Recently I sent two packages from Denver to Limeyland and both were received. One took about a week for delivery and the other 11 days. Tracking was included and I was able to see the the progress being made along the way. Maybe luck was on our side.
