Another arrival for the Fido collection. Just a 22mm Savile Row to come.

At least this feels more impressive than the High Mountain Plisson. A lot more for the bucks. 299 of them. Which when converted to GBP is a bit less than the small Plisson HM.

Did you get a U.S vendor to send one direct or did it come via daughter?

On the assumption that the inland revenue are watching this. My daughter ordered it from her Dallas home, and sent it to me as a gift.

She is such a wonderful girl, kind to her dear old dad. Her dad has been known to pass the odd gift her way from time to time.

Indeed I was wondering the same thing, since it's my birthday soon one of my friends wants to send me a Rooney as a gift and not sure of the best method for transit.

I live dangerously - shipping was 9 dollars - didn't ask her to do anything other than ordinary air mail parcel. Took just a few days to arrive.

Rooney do three standard shapes and three standard sizes, small,22mm, medium,24mm and large 26mm. this one is style1/medium. Hence 1/2. They do other lines eg special editions and heritage but the three styles are the core.
