Never had a problem with the top cap thread or plate loss.
That was my thinking too. Picked one up from Agentshave a few weeks ago as a Christmas pressie to myself. Looking forward to my Boxing Day shave with it and many more after that given it should last a lifetime.I would prefer the 6s solely down to longevity
I've got couple packs perma sharp in my kit , but prefer Voskhod , shark and Lord blades .get some perma sharp and enjoy a very smooth xmas shave ... mine worx well with these on number 4

You didn't say whether you have 6S or C ?
Watched a shave off between the 2 on Kevy shave last night and he thought 6C pipped it as the chrome finish let it give a smoother shave than the mat finish 6S
