RIP Adam MCA Yauch

Founder member of the Beastie Boys Adam Yauch has lost his battle with cancer aged 47.
Remember a lot of volkswagen owners not being too happy when they burst onto the scene as the badges of the cars were getting nicked.

RIP - great band who became really influential as they matured.
WRT the badges you're not wrong, also remember it spreading to other marques. There was a bloke on our street who had a BMW and got sick of his badges being nicked. In the end he opted for one that had bolts on the reverse side (so the prongs went through the bonnet and then nuts were screwed onto them. The damage and denting caused when someone tried to jemmy it off (expecting it to be loosely fixed) cost more than a whole box of badges :s

I still listen to the Licensed to Ill album regularly, one of my all time great albums.
Beastie Boys & Early Mantronix were inovators back in the 80's. Great times!

Cold Play decided to cover of Right to Party as a tribute.

I can almost guarantee the tribute wouldn't be replicated but If I was Adam I'd rise from the dead cut Martin around the waste, pull his skin up over his head and suffocate the limp wristed emo.

Turgid stuff deserving of a horrible end.
