No worries, I'll check when I get back. Too sunny to head back quite yetI see they sell a spare small screw for Rocnel on the Extrashaving website which appears to be a grub screw able to be tightened with an allen key rather than the fiddly double ended screw used by Standard for their DE razors. Could you confirm if the longer screw for the SE50 is slotted to take an allen key? Thanks.
I think that the clamp screw design means that it is not feasible to tighten the screw into the handle or fix it permanently. If you do that, how do you know if you have left enough, too little or too much of the thread protruding? Too much and you won't be able to screw it home, too little and it won't clamp.

It looks like a standard stainless grub screw with the usually-pointed end flattened off. They're readily available in several lengths.
Rocnel have been quite sensible and generous in this design, which allows the use of third-party handles. They could have produced a solid proprietary handle, with a turned down threaded end where they currently use the retaining grub screw.
Of course, with such a handle, it wouldn't be long before some bright spark would work out that a grub screw could be used instead.
Oh great, keep us hanging won't you!
