I have some time before I travel so I can try a few recommendations. I did try some creams early on but settled into soaps quite soon.

I hadn't had the slightly lateral thought of using a soap stick and I know Lea is quite highly thought of. I think I'll give T&H cream and a Lea stick a try.

You know I'll end up trying every cream and stick on the market, don't you? It will be all your fault!

I’m in Africa just now but home on Friday.
Normally i’m shattered when i get home but if you give me a couple of days i can send you a good few samples plus i’ll throw in a palmolive stick.
Obviously i’m unsure if this ties in with your trip but if it does your more than welcome

send me your details i’ll get a few over to you plus the palmolive stick which is superb an in my humble opinion far better than the cream. plus they are like hens teeth unless you want to remortgage your house

I highly recommend Palmolive cream tube, £2 from most supermarkets!

I'm a big fan of creams abroad as I find the water quality and hardness can be all over the place which makes soaps harder to use.
