I know as it's adjustable, it's subjective - I keep mine pretty mild at number 3. I think I'm more of a fan of fixed razors rather than twist to open ones. Bearing in mind, while my Edwin Jagger DE89 is okay, I rarely reached for it, so much that it's up for sale. Thanks

If you like mild, the following might work for you: Gillette Tech Rockwell 6S/C on plate 2 Karve AA-B plate Feather AS-D2 I don't have experience of all the razors above so take this recommendation with a pinch of salt.
