Rapira blades

There is a review on B&B for Rapira,

Using google I see some on ebay but they box looks different from the one on B&B, perhaps it is just updated packaging. Seem quite cheap but no personal experience of them myself.

Of course you can, we have out own Gannet squadren here on TSR.

Usually goes something along the lines of this...

They seem to have two variants, one in a colorfull package from Turkey, and another in black and silver from Russia. the Russian ones I hear are better but as most things go, a matter of opinion.

I had a pack of the red and black Rapira.
They have that slightly abrasive feel about them that I seem to experience from Gillette Yellow/Green/Black (India, I think) but without the sharpness. I just experienced a fairly dull shave with patchiness. I would give them a 4 of out of 10 personally, but nowhere is it truer than DE shaving that YMMV.

Definitely YMMV. I have used a few of them and have found them to be good. Lasted me 3 shaves.....which is all I ask. I have so many blades that it is a false economy squeezing extra shaves after three! I found them to be comfortable and sharp enough.

I found a site today that sells these Rapira blades and two other kinds.
Don't know if they (site and the blades) are any good but made an order today of 1 of each, just in case.
Will let you know how I get on.

I bought some of the black/blue/pink blades from turkey (in the 10 pack)

They are good for about 1-2 shaves only but then again they are extremely cheap so does it really matter?

I found that you really need an agressive razor for these blades to do a good job!

If anyone wants some, send me a PM, more than happy to PIF some!
