I saw this aftershave at a Home Bargains store today while buying soap powder and fabric softener.
It's on sale at £9
I was in a hurry at the time but I'll return tomorrow to pick some up.

Today, it can only command this sort of price ... which is great, because I love it! Home Bargains carry it at about that price I'd say quite frequently, certainly for long enough for me to finish a bottle and buy another a couple of years later.
Surprisingly, it has survived reformulation very well. The original was like unleashing a caged panther. Brute force it was. I need to get another bottle of the AS as I ran out last year.
Haha! Caged panther, indeed @Bogeyman. My Dad used to wear the orange/brown bottle Ted Lapidus which I recall as a similar thing - a scent which announced itself from the next room.
I do have a bottle of the vintage Puig Quorum EDT which I enjoy a spritz of when vintage Ralph Lauren Polo isn't quite going to be stinky enough. Mind you, I have a few score of proper filthy attars for when I absolutely have to smell of horse muck. Modern reformulation is enjoyed routinely.
