Proraso single blade

This Proraso shaving line has been discontinued; today, they only make beard care products. However, at a hair salon supplier, I managed to find some old stock of Cypress & Vetyver in pouches, priced at 20 euros each. The clerk told me that if I buy a couple, he could give me a small discount, bringing them down to 14 euros each. Do you think it’s worth it?

In the past, I used Wood & Spice, which I really enjoyed, but I’ve never tried this variant, and I'm curious about its fragrance which is supposed to be predominantly cypress, with a subtle underlying hint of cedar and vetyver. I’m not sure whether to buy it; if the cypress note is dominant and the vetyver isn’t very noticeable, I might skip it.

Is that everything?

Soap, cream and aftershave?

Surprised there isn’t a greater furore about this.
Proraso aftershave is some of the best on the market.

Time to stock up on the Sandalwood.

The shaving cream is no longer produced. The brand continues to produce only aftershave, conditioner, beard shampoo and other beard care products.

The company who owns Proraso do a great job to discontinue good products.

(Valobra still hurts)

Many enthusiasts still miss Valobra. Proraso's Single Blade line has received mixed reviews: perhaps it wasn't positioned in the best way, especially at the beginning with the 275g size. In a market already full of affordable and highly established alternatives, it wasn't easy for the product to find its footing.
Barbers tend to prefer more affordable shaving soaps and well established lines, such as the classic 500 ml Proraso shaving cream tub with eucalyptus oil and menthol.
