Why is the croap always cheaper than the cream? Is there a difference other than consistency?

Recently saw someone on the Mantic59 blog swear that the croap is somewhat inferior, truly yours sampled both on the red and green versions and I couldn't tell between the two..

Must say this is extremely good price, same price as Arko per gram and its an Italian classic which is a plus in my book.
