I'm not sure about the validity of a pre-beard. I prefer to use a warm cloth and a good soap

I'm with sportsbike on this one. Set the bath running then fill hand basin with tepid water, slosh on face a couple of times and then either slather on the MWF or Cella and shave while the bath finishes running. Showers? *Shudders...*
