What Pre shave and Post Shave Products do you use?

I have probably tried everything, exept Proraso pre shave cream. I have a few tubs but never used them.

Pre
Glycerin soap
Olive Oil soap - Aleppo, Nablus etc.
Pre Shave Cream - Proraso/Prep/3P
Shaving Oil

Post
Aftershave Splash/Lotion
European Colognes - Ach Brito and Turkish Kolonya
Aftershave Balm
Skinfood
Witch Hazel
Aloe Vera
Rosewater
Prep Cream
Alum

Non standard products
Sudocrem
Noxzema

I have just ordered another alum block and I have a Rosewater and Glycerin splash from Piping Rock I have been meaning to try....

There are some historic astringent lotions, but I can't quite recall. I know Myrsol does one.

I found this worked really well on my skin, sadly out of stock everywhere now. A little went a long way and was better for me than proraso

I wonder if anyone this side of the Atlantic uses either Limacol and Alcolado Glacial...
 
I sometimes use aqueous cream as a prr-shave. Not seen anyone else use it and they probably know something I don't but it seems to help.

Maybe.

And I'm currently using captain Fawcett beard oils on the skin as post-shave. Again probably not what anyone else does or should so but leaves the skin feeling good
 
Pre- warm water
Post - cold water, whatever splash matches then serum and moisturiser

I’ve tried pre shave - Barts oil, Proraso cream, TGS oil, none make any improvement on a decent soap
