Post Shave Routines

I usually stick to warm rinse>alum block>tidy up>cold rinse>AS. If I've had a particularly rough shave I use a balm in place of an AS. This is a method I've carried over from my cartridge shaving days, but it still seems to work for me.

My post (98% of the time): cold water splash - towel - dry a little - AS splash.

Sometimes I mix AS and balm/prepost Proraso and sometimes I use a little alum before the towel.

Warm rinse - Alum - cold rinse (or Thayers) - ASB - AS

I only use aftershave. I don't seem to get any benefit from balms or moisturisers. At the moment L'Occitane Cade is in favour.
