The BBA PSB absorbs after 5 mins or so and IMO is the best post shave product on the market.I trust the BBA PSB is non greasy / oily and absorbs well ?

Apply liberally but beware not to do so with a white shirt on for example because it will be covered in Dragons Blood and is very difficult to remove.
+1Yes, you do look like David Dickinson initially, so apply it post shave, but before getting dressed and allow it to fully absorb
I must admit that the whole post shave thing seems like a bit of a minefield. For years I used Nivea Sensitive ASB after my c*rt shaves, probably solely because it was easy to pick up in the supermarket & I couldn't be bothered trying other stuff out.
Now looking at all these threads & SOTD pics, it seems there is an absolute smorgasbord of post shave products out there. Alum, Witch Hazel, Balms, Lotions, Gels, Tonics, Moisturisers, Toners, Aloe Vera, Aftershaves, Splashes, etc.
I have convinced myself over the years that I need to use balms because I feel I have sensitive skin, but I'm interested in changing things up, possibly trying some witch hazel, different balms or something else entirely if it will help my skin.
So what is your post shave routine and do you have any recommendations for witch hazel, balm etc. I have 2 balms on the go (Nivea Sensitive & Real Shaving Co Step 3 Soothing balm) & a Fusion one that must have come in a gift pack which is unopened. So I probably don't NEED to buy any balm for a while (since when has this stopped us buying more products?!) but curious as to what good stuff is out there for the skin of DE users.
My routine is pretty much cold water splash then ASB. Then generally Aloe Vera gel or moisturiser before bed & possibly some more of either one sometime in the morning.

If it doesn't have alcohol in it, it isn't for me; it's particularly good with a touch of menthol. I've tried witch hazel, balms, aloe vera, moisturisers, yad, yad and they just don't do it for me. They usually leave my face feeling itchy and quite often greasy. I find an alcohol-based aftershave leaves my face feeling soothed and invigorated. TOBS, Trumper and Harris are my first choices, but I also like the Aqua Velva line, Gillette Cool Wave and several other budget aftershaves.
