Sounds simple. Why is it simple is often best?I just use Body shop Macca root moisturiser, have done for years and it works really well for me, with a factor 15 SPF in it as well. I keep aloe vera gel on hand just in case i've pushed a blade a bit too far or over done it on the passes a bit, it really helps.
RSC is available at Boots at £5.49 or £3.00 at Sainsbury's. This is a completely different from the formula at Savers, which is a Swallowfield product. It's 99p but full of parabens, the more expensive one isn't.I have an RSC, there have been so many iterations of the range under Creightons and now Swallowfield. Are the same products at £1.00 in Savers the ones in Boots etc for a lot more? I will have to have a look.
I use the BBA product too as my "oh God what have I done" repair routine but thankfully that is very rare. It is very good but frighteningly expensive.
The best balms I have used are by Wickham. Like their soaps, the balms are outstanding and come in pretty much all of the fragrances of their soaps.
@Fox is the owner of Wickham soaps, so he might be able to give you additional information.
I just use Aveeno Moisturiser after a shave because I use it anyway for Dry skin and it's the only thing that seemed to work decently for me all the others Nivea etc don't.
I'll give this a go at some point, as I work at J&J, and get staff discount [emoji3]
