Polo Shirts

I ordered 4 from Spier and Mackay and 2 from Aurelian. The Spier and Mackay are very good value, although Psycho Bunny feels softer. Aurelian were awful and were returned.

If you are looking for good quality mid-price polos take a look at Charles Tyrwitt site. The collars have some form of backing on them that helps keep their shape and avoid that annoying upturn that ruins the look of some many polo brands.
Regarding the John Smedley fit, their range does include both traditional and slim fits - I think you have to look at each description to see the difference in collar shape, material and cut.

A few makes I’d recommend for polo shirts and clothing in general, Musto / Helly Hansen / Armadillo Merino (a little more expensive).

Henri Lloyd of old, I still have some of their classic heavier weight polo shirts. They’ve gone a bit too high street fashion for me now in style and price. With quality dipping.
