My forum posts are now littered with messages about removal of photos. Not just here but all my forums!

I thought that the process of adding photos from a host website effectively copied them to a message board. I had the bright idea of tidying up my photobucket albums and removing photos I was unlikely to need again. Effect - all photos here have gone too.

That is right, they just link to where they are held, i.e. Photobucket.

Doing so will reduce the bandwith used by this place but equally if the picture is deleted or you exceed the bandwith allowed by the host the picture will not display.
