BTW, I'm staying in Thailand for a while and shooting quite a bit. It's not very editorial or thematic, pretty much snapshotting around. Also some pics from Japan taken last month. Cheers.

Continuing from our conversation elsewhere - bucolic you say? The countryside is frankly just dangerous. I'm scared by all domesticated livestock - from ducks upwards. I thought I would get to play with lambs - which apparently these are - bollocks - they are just small sheep. No sign of gamboling at all. Look at the one on the right - that's an evil look. He's not afraid of humans - they are all he - problem. Apparently they are a cross breed suited to the Borders. Stupidly big ears - maybe that's why they are angry? If you are interested they cost £40 a piece at this age. Cheers - I.

I love sheep, not in an inappropriate way you understand. How could you not fall in love with those faces! I would love to have a few in my garden to keep the grass clipped but I fear My dog would love them more! P . Great pic by the way
 
I know what you mean mate. The countryside is far more dangerous than South Central L.A. Do you know how many people are killed by cows each year in the UK? Well neither do I to be honest. But I should think it's several thousand. I'm pleased you made it back to the safety of Glasgow in one piece Iain.

Thanks for sharing the link - I very much enjoyed looking at your recent work. What ever the tweak is with the the black and white - keep doing it. They look gorgeous and render beautifully. The tones remind me of fibre-based hand prints. It was interesting to see what you looked like. Thanks again - yours - I.
 

Thanks Iain. I think the black-and-white JPEG's are pretty good . I just adjust the contrast a little or any blown out highlights and (that's) about it.

I continue to enjoy your film work. Unlikely I'll ever go back to film but I sure appreciate its unique qualities.
