Thank you - you mostly never knew. The safety is on one side of this rifle and you couldn't always see it. Even before the Russians invaded and the resulting chaos ensued - this was a heavily armed culture. It was a birth right - and indeed a mark of manhood - to carry a weapon. Many weapons in a lot of cases. It always amused me that at the entrances to mosques and hospitals they had big signs with the silhouette of an AK crossed out boldly. Leave your guns at the door. Shot with my first 35mm camera a Minolta X700 but can´t remember which macro lens I used.
Some Black & White film, would have to search deeply in my archive, but I coloured the print with bluetoner by Tetenal.
The good old, but after chemical stinking days and nights, in the dark red dimly lit photolab...
