Yep!
Enjoyed a dogfight with a Porsche for the one parking space left in town. He played his Porsche privilege card and parked in the disabled bay. Jolly Fisherman for a spot of dinner - we had the platters, which are awesome! I also had a Kipper Scotched Egg.
My hair still smells of the smoke ... marvellous!

Just a few bits from the walk this morning...
It's rare for me to see a Wall butterfly or a Painted Lady these days. I think the heat this year has really helped out. There were some really nice wood carvings of birds on the walk too. The barn owl one is particularly good. Took these with a phone so not as clear as they might be.

Sorry this is a little 'serial killer' esque but while I was out today I watched a fairly gruesome encounter between a wasp and a daddy long legs. The wasp had it pinned down and took off its legs one by one before getting down to business. You can see the discarded legs around the scene after it bit them off in the first pic. Nature can be quite brutal at times. Tbh I felt a little queasy and I'm a big nature lover but hey. The circle of life and all that...

An unbelievably humid day today. Butterflies aplenty - especially the Holly Blue but sadly they're so active I couldn't get a decent picture of one. This Small Tortoiseshell was far more obliging...

Spent the afternoon wandering the grounds of Byland Abbey. A very peaceful place if a little blustery today...
Well my favorite Spanish enabler sent me a few pics he created for my soon to be newest trike acquisition. First is a pirate duck flag for my bike (two ducks as household pets here) and second is a goof on me racing inna Spanish town. Hehe, note the duck tattoo on my leg.
