It is often not the camera that captures a good photograph it is the eye of the photographer who sees a shot before the camera is raised to the eye.True. I like my X10 but the best camera is the one you have with you when you see something. Which was the idea of the X10 over DSLR but yeah, the ubiquitous phone...
I agree, all the Hasselblads in the world won't make a good photo if the bloke holding it doesn't have the eye. You can get a great pic with a phone if you have an eye for it. Someone who has the eye, the craft and the gear can take it to the next level and make perfect images, but a good capture on a cheap phone is 90% of the way there.
Even nicer to have a willing and photogenic partner mate!
