Not far wrong @Nisse, one of the tests i'm planning with this soap is post shave squeezing out all the remaining lather from my brush and massaging into my neck, goatie and face, leaving it sit there till it dehydrates as I soak in the tub. Finally washing off post bath. If I can keep a soap scented or otherwise on my skin that long with no reaction i'll never have an issue with a 4 pass shave and with soaps that have those lovely skin caring ingredients like this one it will super boost the post shave like you can't imagine. Its my gold seal on whether a soap agrees with my skin 100%.Friday night inpired by a bottle of Cote Du Rhone, hmmm, maybe a soap like this could be used for daily wash and conditioning of beard, ie face lather with brush of choice and rinse would leave facial hair and skin in best shape

Thanks for taking the time to feedback, @Benz3ne. Scent wise we will be keeping it simple. We have these as the very probable first four:In the minor exposure I've had to it I've found it's super-slick and does a great job. It's hard to fully scrutinise without a scent as you never know quite how it'll turn out, but I'd imagine the scents will be able to stay truer to their nature as the base features very little scent itself. I've found that playing around with DIY shaving soap myself, the stearic acid/coconut oil type combos are very scent-light.
I've found mine doesn't take quite as much water as P&B's tallow formulations, though that's not to say it doesn't take much water full-stop. It does, and that is evident. It has a good post-shave feel, not overly sticky/oily etc. and certainly not too drying.
All up, I'll be interested to know what sort of scents are being brought to the table as that's the only thing which will sway my spending over the tallow-featuring variants.
Good work @phoenixandbeau!
