I thought the same thingWith hindsight we should have used an easier razor !
Thats the Israeli one , they have closed the production there I believe and moved it to Germany.Sorry for my ignorance but could you confirm what the Israeli and German packaging looks like? I have these:
Personna Platinum DE Safety Razor Blades
Personna Platinum DE Blades can be used in any safety razor. A sharp, effective blade without irritation for your wet shave.agentshave.co.uk

On the packs of 10 it is a plain white plastic no printing. Just that new style card again nothing written on it.There has been no definitive word (that I know of) whether the Nazareth Personna plant has actually closed since this happened:
Merger Meltdown: Ill-Fated Harry’s Deal A Harbinger Of Investing Reset
Eyebrows rose this week when Edgewell Personal Care Co. abandoned its $1.37 billion acquisition of Harry’s Inc., a DTC men’s and women’s shaving company.www.forbes.com
So, Russell we need a favor: what exactly (if anything) is inscribed on the packaging you have for the German Personna blades?
BM - there's a bloody big made in Germany sign on the top of it!!Thanks, but it looks like we're going to need to see the back, or top/bottom, of that sleeve to find out. Oh well.
I know it is subjective but I tried a German Wilkie yesterday and to me it wasn't the same blade. The print on the blades is identical to the printing on the Israels.Perhaps these are simply rebranded German Wilkies(?). After all, they sell a Schick DE blade in South America that many think is.
It appears someone is selling the German ones in the USA now as one vendor on Amazon is selling 30 blades for $7.79. Cannot link Amazon on this forum, so to see it you have to do the legwork.
Well, one USA vendor on Amazon has a photo of these new German ones so I sprung for a 10 blade pckg., but when it arrived it was the old Israeli Euro version!!He credited me back and that was that. Well, I tried one of these current Israeli ones and it shaved nothing like the ones I had years ago did!! I mean I did my usual hot shower prep and glycolic facial wash and then used Stirling Satsuma shave soap. Razor was an English "flat bottom" Tech and the shave was barely tolerable at best. Surely, this blade was made after they announced they were closing the Nazareth plant (which is still unconfirmed since the Harry's deal fell through). Rough blade.
