I've got 8 or 9 (i think) of those from Morrison's in the random blades i'll be posting to you sometime this week though.
There are three types of Personna blades being produced at the Nazareth plant.
1. Crystal Platinum - AKA Israeli Personna's, IP's, Super + Platinum
Blue & white wrappers. Marked Super + Platinum. Packed in 10's (dispenser) or 100's (loose in a white carton).
If Red Personnas (blue card with red writing) are the same as Crystals... then it just shows how feeble and suggestable my brain is (No comments, please). I find a world of difference between the two and agree with your assessment... I found the Crystals a bit rough. Don't know about the red wrapper, though, they may be a Personna I haven't tried yet... mine are in a plain white wrapper.
Personnas are my current favourites.. I've tried the Reds and the Lab Blues and like them both. I've got the Med Preps to try, but haven't tried yet. The Med Preps are supposed to be the same as the Lab Blues but without the coating (and are therefore a bit cheaper). Don't know if this will affect the shave, but I'll find out. I don't know what the difference is between the Reds and the Blues. I like them both and they both seem very similar to me
You've got that round the wrong way & also incorrect. The Med Preps are dearer than the Lab Blues because they are sterilised. Apart from that, they are supposedly the same blade.
No, they are not sterilized, they are sanitized. There is a difference between the two terms. Sterilization is the process of eliminating 100% of the microorganism and its spores. Personna merely washes the 'Med Preps' with some sanitizer.
The personna blades from Asda actually cost Asda 63p per pack and they sell them at £1.89. I just wish I knew what blade they used as it is probably my favourite blade.Sorry to drag up an old thread. I've been using the Tesco blades and I really like them. I'd love to know if any of the other blades mentioned in the thread are the same blade as I'd love to get a bulk buy on them to save a few £Â£.
I've tried some Viking's Sword Israeli Personnas and while it is a good blade (for me anyway) it isn't quite as good as the Tesco blade.
