It's big, too! Maybe a third of the size of the England arc by the looks of it. Bigger than the Norway arc.

If your character is even half built up, you'll be able to jump across into these DLCs and continue improving.

Lol I had actually started downloading it again just before you posted this!! It sounds brilliant!!

You know I quite fancy giving Unity another go as well. I find that French Revolution setting just irresistible!! It got slated a bit when it came out but I think (hope!!) all the bugs will be patched out by now!!

I read that it had the longest development time of all the Assassin's Creed games and it is a cracking game! I played it after Syndicate but found it in no way dated ... quite the contrary. Switching back to the older combat and free-running schema didn't feel as hard as I thought it might going back to Syndicate from Valhalla.

Yeah, why not ...

I played it reasonably recently and didn't encounter and real oddities or bugs. I've seen a good number of videos showing just how bad it was upon release, but it's absolutely ironed out now. Compared to Syndicate, the sleath element still really played out. Syndicate (via the male protagonist) kinda encouraged a brute-force approach that wasn't there in Unity, but became a valid play option thereafter. In Syndicate, you can switch back and forth between that brute-force and the (female) stealth-orientated approach quite readily.

Have fun with Wrath of the Druids. I'm resisting the urge to jump into the Siege of Paris DLC just to see ... play one, then the other. Yeah, the Irish arc is a lot of fun! If you didn't get to the river raids in the main game, do so ... that gave me the taster of the other countries. Also, the Vinland saga was a lot of fun because however far you'd got in the main game, you went back to no kit! Start again, kinda.

That, and completing the England saga ... because once you've pacified/allied all the regions, there's still quite a lot of game still to go!
 
Phew! Thoroughly enjoyed the three Valhalla DLCs - the Ireland arc was great! Siege of Paris, less so, but still a LOT of fun! Actually, Dawn of Ragnarok was a lot of fun, too, once I'd got into it. I've just finished that one ... and nowt really to do now back in the main game. I guess that's Valhalla done.

What a great game!
 
I'm deep into Unity and loving it!! It's so funny to me that up to Sequence 5 I got the trophies in like 2015 and then there's an 8 year gap lol. Longest ever playthrough!! I tried it in French language for a bit for extra authenticity and it was really good but I missed out on a lot of the incidental chatter so I switched back.

Glad to hear the Valhalla DLC is so good
It's nice to have a big chunk of game to look forward to at some point.
 
Nice! I keep picking up an old save in Days Gone where I intend to do around to do all the extra stuff after the usual extra stuff.

Unity, I really enjoyed. Dead Kings DLC is good, too. Interesting idea switching to French! The environment really is immersive and the NPCs do feel like they're actually just going about their day.
 
I absolutely loved Valhalla ... and so played Odyssey and Origins, which were the two that preceded. Odyssey was a lot of fun! Origins, less so. As a format, this lot are all very much open-world games with only a mere hint of Assassin's Creed DNA.

Onto Mirage ... and a few hours in now. Quite a change!

Graphically, so-so? I say that because sometimes it looks great and sometimes it looks like a really old game, especially when it comes to the cut-scenes which after Valhalla, are quite frankly crap. Gameplay is good and it's back to classic Assassin's Creed - stealth, parkour, take the high-road ... and assassinating!

So far, it feels like the follow-up to Unity, which was a great game and really brought all the elements together. This, despite the rather old-feeling to it, I think will pan out to be a great story. Fingers crossed.

I bought this a week or so ago. A large download and memory intensive but playable on any halfway decent rig.
An excellent game IMHO. Most of the online reviews are accurate (for once!). As an ex D&D player I say this is a great port over from tabletop to PC.
I also liked some of the embedded (British)humour which can be particularly wicked.
The small publisher who developed this certainly have a winner on their hands.

Ive never played D&D but do enjoy listening to a few D&D podcasts.
Im currently playing Divinity Original Sin 2, which I am enjoying, and will most likely try Baldurs Gate 3 once Ive finished it
