I am thinking of buying a Parker Variant and wonder if any of you could answer the following, Is it a 2 piece or is it like the Merkur Progress? That you can actually disassemble to 3 pieces?

You can remove the adjustment knob by pressing on the securing ring for a thorough cleaning just as you can with the Progress. P. Technically it is a two peice but it can be broken down into three sections and because I did a full clean after each shave I did this to fully clean and dry the razor but unless you have OCD it's probably not necessaryMr. Google doesn't know everything
It is a shame the person showing how to adjust the razor did not take the time ( a couple of seconds ) to show how you can take the adjustment knob off so as to give the razor a propper clean, or maybe he was unaware! Who knows.

For what it's worth, I'd wholly recommend one. They're great shavers and I perhaps shouldn't have sold mine on!
