Parker Pen Stand

A friend recently presented this to me as a thank you for a few packs of blades I gave him a while back.
I offered to pay him for it and he refused as it was a find in a charity shop that only cost him a couple of £'s ! and he knew I'd probably like it given my passion for all things writing related.
Luck old me eh!

Its a very old Parker Pen stand still with sticker on front (rear side in pics) and engraved on the trumpet "Parker USA".
It was originally designed to house the early Duofolds I believe but it works just fine with my MB's and now has pride of place on my desk.
Very heavy and extremely well made it still looks almost as new as the day it was made.

Regards, beejay

Parker made some very nice desk sets in the 1920's to 1940's some were very ornate with gold fittings and onyx/marble bases. That is a cracker Bill, it would have looked right at home on someones desk with a nice Duofold or Vacumatic in it. Glad it has found a new owner who uses it and appreciates it.
